We purchased the building on the backside of the Colchester Green at 43 Hayward Avenue (formerly NuNu’s) in August 2020 and opened the restaurant on May 8th, 2021.

This business has grown out of Chris’ passion for cooking and especially for authentic southern BBQ.
We fell in love with BBQ when visiting Chris’ older brother while he was stationed in Tennessee over twenty years ago. Chris learned the craft of smoking and barbecue and has been perfecting his recipes since then. All of our recipes are his own creations, and everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients.
Chris spent his high school, college, and grad school working in restaurants and the food industry, and started as a busboy boy then worked as a waiter, bartender, and a cook/chef.
We have catered for graduation parties, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, weddings, and many other events, both large and small.
